Is hypnosis safe?
“I’ll try anything but hypnosis.” Even in my darkest days, I was totally turned off by hypnosis. Today, of course, I know it’s the tool that saved my life. A lot of the clients that come to me share the same skepticism that I once felt. I welcome, even encourage, that healthy curiosity. Hypnosis is something you have to experience for yourself. You can hear about the incredible transformations on my website or have a friend describe how “light” they feel after their session, but it’s a whole other story when you try it for yourself. Before my first hypnosis session, I couldn’t handle day to day life. Everything, even the little things, seemed totally unmanageable for me. I hadn’t expected so much baggage from past experiences to rise up after my first session. I had come into the session hoping to relieve the debilitating pain and trauma from a terrible car accident. I left unearthing experiences that I had blocked out of my consciousness from years and years before. Immediately after my first session, I felt like a different person. I felt lighter. I felt calmer. I felt...hopeful. Our lives are a product of past beliefs and programming. I believe, as Louise Hay says, that “the point of power is in the present moment.” I also believe that power comes from releasing the patterns that control everything from our illnesses to our finances to our relationships. You can think or say that you want something, but your mind must be on board. The transformations I have personally experienced and facilitated for my clients have proven to me that we create our realities. You might think that being sick is just the way it needs to be, but that is definitely not the case.
Today, I want you to think about how you want to feel and who you want to be. What emotions do you want to experience and what would you like to release?
